This time it was grayish, and not as colorful as I remembered it! But, maybe the fact that this boring gray chunk became slowly into a (more or less) sculpture of fatir's head, was the most amazing thing about it.
So as I mention I haven’t touched this oily material for a long long time, and coming back wasn’t easy and so natural for me… but fun, it was, for sure!
By having almost no clue how to approach the task of sculpturing the partner had, I tried to simplify what I saw into basic geometric shapes.
First the age shape and the cylinder of the neck were made attached to each other, secondly I made a sketch for
the organs location, by measurin
g and marking it on the age shape.Slowly the face came to life, and it was no longer a chunk of Plasticine, but a human face. I won't say it looks like fatir's face, but I can say I tried :)
Next time will be better…
